Beautiful hotel property, with excellent service. The hotel is quiet and secluded, but only a short trip away from the Ubud's main street. Food at the hotel was excellent as well.

When we were driving along the rice fields leading to the main entrance of the hotel, we had a feeling that our stay at Alila will be a pleasant one. And indeed it was. The welcoming drive into the hotel lobby which introduced us to the beautiful view of the hill and ravine Alila was sitting on was most breathtaking. The smell of clean fresh air surrounded by nothing but sound and feel of nature kicked start a wonderful 5-day vacation. Though the room was small it opened up to excessive greenery and nature's creatures in which we had no problem staying in most of our stay. Whenever we managed to drag ourselves out for a meal or for a spa treatment, we were treated with excellent services filled with warmth and beautiful smiles. All in all, our stay with Alila was most enjoyable and we are already planning to return for our next stay with Alila.

Peaceful and secluded setting with great views over the ravine. The service was excellent and the staff always wore a smile. I went with 2 other friends and would highly recommend staying there.

The location - it is right on top of a gorge, although if you are in the standard rooms, you will not get that "jaw-dropping view. Hotel is nestled amongst paddy fields and appears to be sensitive to its location and community. Service is attentive. One evening, distance sounds of some kind of flute the villagers were playing drifted across the gorge to the poolside and another evening, the drums. Was lovely!

the hotel was lovely with a fantastic out look over the valley , the food was very good and service was on par with anything else we came acros in bali, the rooms have a real earthy feel and help you relax. If you want a very relaxing ubud stay I would highly suggest, if your looking for some atmosphere and fun , this is not the place for you

Beautifully designed, it's like living a dream. Even better than we'd hoped from the reviews and photos. The staff couldn't have done more to make us feel comfortable. Location is also very nice, secluded and surrounded by rice fields.

Best breakfast we ever had.

The setting was amazing. The room was nice. It had an outdoor shower that seemed great but in the end as a matter of preference I would rather have it indoors.
-
The way the building design was integrated with a fabulous river valley setting. Food, service, public areas, outdoor shower, view down the river valley from the room.
