“We picked the Hilton after hearing about their multi million dollar renovation. The hotel is in a very good location and the public spaces are quite nice. Rooms aren't big, but well done. Excellent shower but i will always hate those mini bars where , if you touch anything , it appears on your bill. One pretty big issue. We were sent to a room where, immediately, we heard a grinding sound through the walls. Very loud it turned out to be the elevator. No insulation apparently added despite the millions spent. it took some arguing to get another room and that was disappointing.”

“The hotel is well appointed with contemporary decor and centrally located on George Street. It's opposite the Queen Victoria Building so a good position.”
