“The road is noisy but tolerable for a 2-3 night stay. Good location in the city. Room had a good blend of modern and Spanish. Small pool but perfect for cooling down after a day of sightseeing. Overall, great value. Would stay again.”

“On arrival the hotel we were delighted with our booking. However our first room no. 5 had an old and decrepit bathroom. It had obviously not been renovated like the rest of the hotel. The ceiling in the bathroom was leaking and water was gushing down into the bath from the room above. When I took a shower the bathroom smelt of damp and the damp water was dripping on my head. Not a pleasant experience for me as I am 7 months pregnant and was hoping for a luxury room like your website had portrayed it to be. The hotel mgr moved us to room 24 which also had a leaking bath.”

“It was perfect for our stay in Seville - very quiet and relaxing. Service was discreet but attentive. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful. The room was very relaxing, the public spaces (ie the courtyards, reading rooms) very calming and it was great that it had the pool area on the roof. Breakfast was incredibly good value and of a high quality. Although it was quite a small space with around 40 or so rooms it was great that you didn't really see anyone around. We really enjoyed our stay there and would totally recommend it to others travelling to Seville.”

“Had a wonderful time. Staff were very welcoming and lots of smiles . Perfect English if needed. Breakfast staff worked very hard and nothing too much trouble. The hotel is calm , peaceful and relaxing. Lovely Korres bath products, nice touch of welcoming chocolate and drink in the room and the lovely touch of Seville oranges in baskets around the hotel. I would certainly recommend this to others and I would stay at this hotel again.”

“Reservation confirmation said king, but hotel could only provide a twin. We're easy-going, but it was a bit cosier than we'd have liked. Need to make sure your booking engine and theirs works together a bit better.”

“Front desk is less than competent. First floor room noisy--both on account of people, including staff, walking past, and because of some untraceable electronic "ping" that went on all night--like the sound of a garbage truck backing up. My overall summary is that we were not treated very warmly by the staff, would not go back ourselves, and would not recommend the property to others.”

“Las Casas del Rey was the perfect mix of old-fashioned charm and modern facilities. The building retains all the charm of of old-world Seville, but the restaurant, rooms and bathrooms are up-to-date and modern. Each room comes with an array of spa products, which was a cute little touch. The common areas are perfect for sitting and relaxing and the restaurant turned out delicious salads and dishes (it is worth eating at the hotel at least once, even though there are so many great places to eat in the city). The rooftop pool and lounge is a great, calm oasis, especially needed for the hot Seville summer. Great location in El Centro -- you are in walking distance to everything but not in a touristy area at all. I highly recommend a stay in this charming hotel.”

“The photos on the website don't lie. This hotel is beautiful. Great colors. Built around the central atrium/courtyard it gives a sense of escape from the city around you. The rooftop pool is small, but relaxing.”

“This hotel feels like home - a beautiful room, very tasteful and interesting public areas and a lovely roof top pool. The extras such as free computer, quality of breakfast and lovely products in the bathroom and a decent hairdryer are important, but also the quality of service in this hotel is very good and made my stay there very relaxed and pleasurable.”
