Very cool public areas, great roof terrace and great location

The location was terrific. It seemed in the middle of the major tourist area, but was tucked away from the busy streets.

Really love the location – it's in the middle of everything. La Rambla, Placa de Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia and a number of metro stops are all steps outside the door. The hotel is great, love the updated "boutique-y" feel. Our favorite, both times there, has been the roof bar. We'd make sure to stop by each night, even if was just for a single night cap. Great way to end a night before retiring to the room.

The lobby bar/library was well-designed. The location near Plaza de Catalunya was great.

Location was woooow. and nice front desk people

despite ther reviews about the rooms being very small, i was pleasantly surprised. i emailed the hotel because i was travelling form the US without an adapter. they were kind to rspond quickly and set one aside for me at the time of check-in. i liked the fact that there was a small balcony so i could open the door for fresh air each morning. the bathroom was spacious and made of all marble, including all of the extra amenities. the location is convenient to the subway and local neighborhood, located at the beginning of la rambla avenue. overall great rates.

Conveniently located in the plaza de catalunya.Minimal interior, furniture and rooms have a good layout. Roof deck has an event in Septembers on tuesdays where you will meet many of Barcelona's posh socialites.

Location Location Location...A modern hotel within a very short walking distance to Plaça de Catalunya which feeds into Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia. With limited time in Barcelona, this was the best location with most sightseeing within walking distance. If not, the HopOn HopOff bus was accessible at Plaça de Catalunya which we used. The room was clean and the amentities was inline with what you would find at any upper end hotel with out the uppend end price. The HVAC worked like a charm, noise was non existant as this is a common problem in central Barcelona, and the front desk was well versed in English and extremely helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
