An incredible mix of colonial architecture prevails in this spot, with worn colonial buildings and holy monuments. The square is named after Benoy, Badal, and Dinesh, three Indian freedom fighters who shot a British police inspector-general in 1930. The surrounding buildings and sites, including Lal Dighi Tank and the General Post Office, are certainly fascinating and worth a look.
